This is a Title Sequence for the movie Spectral starring James Badge Dale and Emily Mortimer. Spectral is a Netflix made Sci-Fi movie where otherworldly forces wreak havoc in a European city. Clyne (played by James) the engineer teams up with an elite Special Ops unit to try and stop it.

One of the first things I did when starting this project was watching the movie and experimenting with new techniques of filming. I decided to use a projector pointed at a wall and found various videos online of different things that can be projected onto the wall for interesting texture. Some videos (as shown below), include figures that I could trace in After Effects, ink drops in water, and I ended up using some foil that I put on the wall and then had a video/the projector playing over it to create the interesting effect you see at the very beginning of the Title Sequence.
This is a recording of a projected video on a wall of these figures moving. Due to the projection being in a corner on the wall, it resulted in interesting angles.
